The  FIREFIGHTER

INTERNSHIP Program

NEXT Class Fall 2020

For anyone who has aspirations of becoming a firefighter and has done some research, they will find that firefighting is a very competitive career choice, and the training can be very expensive. The Canadian Fire Rescue College's Firefighter Program is an effective solution to both of these problems.

The program consists of just over 1 month of accredited NFPA 1001 training followed by either 6 or 12 months of practical experience (depending on specialization selection). The Full-Ride Scholarship program will cost $1000.00** that can be made in 4 payments*. At the end of the apprenticeship, if successful, apprentices will receive their money back, and will be offered a job either at our affiliate company Northwest Fire Rescue and Training, or at another industry provider. During the apprenticeship, apprentice firefighters will also receive an additional payment as per schedules A and B when on work experience assignments in the industrial field, or on municipal emergencies.

Essentially it is a win win, not only will you receive your firefighter training with great deals of practical experience, you will also get all of your money back, and then some.
