NFPA 1001-L2 FIREFIGHTER LEVEL 2

 

  • WHAT: NFPA 1001-L2 - Firefighter Level 2

  • WHERE: Fire Rescue International / Onoway Regional Fire Services Stations, Onoway AB   

  • WHY: To provide new firefighters with the skills and knowledge to work safely under supervision on emergency scenes.   ​

  • PREREQUISITES

    • NFPA 1001-L1

WEEKDAY CLASS - ENRICHED PLUS PRACTICUM

  • WHEN: Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm

    • CLASSROOM EDUCATION:​

      • Term 1: May 7th, 2021 to June 18th, 2021

      • Term 2: September 7th, 2021 to September 24th, 2021

    • PRACTICUM 

      • Term 1: June 20th, 2020 - August 27th, 2021

      • Term 2: September 27th, 2021 - November 22nd, 2021

    • PRACTICE BOOTCAMP: June 18th, 2021 - June 20th, 2021

    • PRO-BOARD TESTING: September 24th, 2021 - September 26th, 2021

NOTE: This course includes pre-learning that must be completed before the start date. This is not a correspondence course. This is a high-intensity, traditionally delivered, skills and theory program. This program is delivered by certified NFPA 1041 instructors and is augmented by skills practices at the student’s home station with academic reviews online. We have limited barracks space on location that can be provided if candidates are travelling from afar.
